In June, 2024 I went to Duke University to freshen up on my skills and understanding of todays athletes. It was a pleasure meeting Coach Jon Scheyer and speaking to him and the director in the coaches area. I was actually surprised his wife was from Ft. Lauderdale which was very close to where I grew up.
Upon the start of the camp, I found the drills to be great ways of making players make decisions. This was something coaches really stressed in FIBA was to make right decisions based on the situation given to the player.
I used these camps to freshen up on the game and also bring kids to help learn a more effective way of playing basketball as a team.
